The 4th Annual International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (IMDEC 2025), hosted under the patronage of the Ghana Navy, will play a critical role in augmenting the maritime defence initiatives for the Gulf of Guinea and the wider African continent. By bringing together African and international navies as well as key stakeholder bodies, IMDEC 2025 will continue to serve as a platform for fostering cooperation and sharing best practices.

The 3rd edition (IMDEC 2023) witnessed more than 800 international and regional maritime leaders, government officials and stakeholders from 28 countries, and addressed the progress made by the Yaounde architecture as it marked a decade H.E. Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of Ghana Armed Forces launched Ghana’s National Integrated Maritime Strategy (NIMS) at IMDEC 2023 as Hon. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, Minister of Transport and Hon. Albert Kan Dapaah, Minister of National Security for the Republic of Ghana delivered key presentations as part of NIMS launch.

H.E. the President of the Republic further inaugurated IMDEC Expo, which showcased cutting-edge and latest innovations in maritime security solutions from leading defence technology providers globally.
