Recent requirements to stay at home due to the current pandemic have highlighted the importance of digital transformation in the public sector. The Future of Work in Government requires technologies that enable agencies to fulfill their mission when faced with uncertain market changes and global conditions.

Digital Transformation has already been in the works for many governments in the region; namely with the Dubai 2021 Paperless Initiative, the Saudi 2030 National Transformation Program and others.

However, while some departments have crossed the first threshold of transformation, many are still lagging. Overall, the ultimate objective is to deliver better citizen experiences by increasing the efficiency of government employees through automation, higher levels of collaboration and an omni-channel approach towards citizen communication.
