The global threat landscape continues to evolve rapidly since the past 2years, triggered by the pandemic, remote work and the economic fallout. This has not only led to a surge in threats but created a lot of opportunities for public and private sector organizations to re-valuate their cyber security strategies which has now led to an increased spend in cyber security to boost their digital security and critical infrastructure.

In a recent PwC’s Global Digital Trust Insights survey, 58% of Middle East organizations who responded predicted a rise in cyber spending in 2022 compared to 43% last year. More than a third (31%) predict cyber spending hikes of 10% or more; only 10% percent said that last year. Organizations know that risks are increasing with more than 43% expect a surge in reportable incidents above 2021 levels.
