HydroShield ASEAN
Event Navigation

Across Southeast Asia, coastal cities are facing a growing convergence of risks: intensifying stormwater volumes, inadequate urban drainage systems, land subsidence, and rising sea levels. In key economic hubs such as Jakarta, flooding is no longer a seasonal disruption but a structural challenge, impacting infrastructure, industry, and urban resilience. As a result, governments are accelerating investments in integrated stormwater management and coastal protection systems to safeguard economic continuity, quality of life, and support future urban growth.
HydroShield ASEAN, taking place on 28–29 October 2026 at the Jakarta International Expo, brings together key stakeholders across government, engineering, utilities, and private sector to address the urgent need for scalable, resilient stormwater and coastal infrastructure solutions. The event will focus on enabling a shift from fragmented systems to integration, future-ready approaches that combine engineering, technology, and sustainability.
