To embrace the benefits of the 4th Industrial Revolution, concentrated efforts must be made to overcome patchy networks, connectivity shortages, and further adopt fiber-optic cable systems. In Africa, a series of projects and initiatives have been rolled out in efforts to accomplish this goal and advance regional and global connectivity. However, it is imperative stakeholders remain diligent and in-tune to effectively execute sustainable ICT network expansion projects across the continent.
In light of this, Networks Africa aims to overcome the proficiency gaps in adopting advanced ICT network infrastructure by providing a platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue and commitment. The objective is to expand development of fiber-optic cable connections, achieve sustainable 5G growth and enhance Africa’s digital economy.
