Event Navigation

The Middle East and Africa smart hospital market is witnessing a rapid growth in technology innovation adoption by healthcare providers to meet the evolving business and new-age patient requirements. According to a report by Kenneth research, the Middle East and Africa smart hospital market is expected to reach a market size of USD 2.11 Bn by 2023.
Furthermore, the current situation and high demand has fuelled the need for smarter hospitals that can offer more secure, efficient, and cost-effective healthcare services. Therefore, the adoption of several digital health initiatives such as AI, telehealth, remote health monitoring, analytic, hands-free communications, patient flow, speech recognition, and identity management have been on all-time high and a top priority across the sector.
In lights of this, there has also been an increase in the number of hospitals being developed to cater to growing demands. For example, the UAE’s private sector plans to add over 2,500 beds in 2020, while KSA’s public sector has plans of constructing new hospitals and expansions worth USD 5 Bn by 2025 through Public Private Partnerships.
The Emerging Technologies for Healthcare Digi-Conference series will build on the great success of the inaugural edition and for the second time bring together C-suite executives from leading healthcare institutions across the Middle East and Africa, along with global tech players involved in the development and adoption of smart healthcare systems to engage in thought-provoking discussions. This edition will focus on addressing and sharing experiences on how to build a smart healthcare system with the right strategy, approach, technology innovation and adoption across functions.
